One of the highlights of the Christmas season is when the kids of Alderbrook Church put on their Christmas Play and Production.

This Sunday the ACC children will be presenting, “What God Wants For Christmas”. I’m sure in reading this title, that you are curious just like me?

You might be thinking that God owns everything…so, what else does He need? Or you might be thinking that Christmas is so commercialized and why would God want to even go close to a mall in December?

We are going to let our kids answer that question this Sunday. Its going to be a great Sunday and make sure that you come early for a great seat. Be sure you are ready to take lots of pics…there is usually the Christmas story that is shared in the play…and then there’s the stuff that just happens when you give children a mic!! Its going to be great.

As we look ahead towards Christmas can you mark your calendars for our Christmas Eve service that happens on Wednesday December 24th from 5-6pm. We’ve always chosen this time because some people are still working on the day of Christmas Eve, but this time from 5-6pm gives people and families opportunity to come to church prior to heading out to celebrate. It will be a candlelight service involving music, Christmas readings, videos and something special for the kids.

Why not make sure that you take time to let Christ be a part of all the things that you do over Christmas.

Its just under two weeks until Christmas…enjoy this season and remember why we celebrate. Emmanuel..God with Us!!
